We are glad to share that New York State has opened manufacturing businesses in the Finger Lakes Region, where Archival Methods is located. We are following CDC and local guidelines to ensure the safety of our employees and the products you purchase.

These include:

  • Disinfecting work areas and tools before, during, and after shifts;
  • Wearing gloves when necessary;
  • Washing and sanitizing hands frequently, especially after removing gloves;
  • Keeping a safe working distance from our co-workers and/or wearing masks.

Our thanks go to the employees who worked from home processing orders and communicating with our customers, as well as our staff who continued to safely ship orders on a reduced schedule during the shutdown.

We are working to replenish our shelves both with our products and those from outside vendors, but please be patient as we ramp back up to normal production and shipping schedules. Many of our raw material suppliers, the majority of which are US-based, are also just reopening, and we expect some delays in our supply chain in the weeks and months to come.

Please reach out to if you have questions.

And if you find yourself with more time than usual at home, or are now homeschooling kids, consider a family history project! Our online Preservation Guide for Paper & Photographs is a great resource.

In good health always,
Dennis Inch, Founder & CEO
